Bulletin of the National gallery in Prague XXXV/2025

Bulletin Národní galerie v Praze je odborné periodikum zveřejňující výsledky výzkumu ve všech kategoriích sbírkových fondů se snahou předkládat nové poznatky v souvislostech oborových a interdisciplinárních. Vedle monografických studií a zpráv o nových poznatcích jsou v Bulletinu publikovány výsledky restaurátorských prací a technologických analýz, významné archivní materiály a odborné recenze důležitých českých i zahraničních oborových publikací.
Jádro letošního tematického ročníku Bulletinu Národní galerie v Praze tvoří příspěvky z mezinárodní konference, kterou uspořádala NGP ve spolupráci s Ústavem pro dějiny umění FF UK u příležitosti stého výročí státního nákupu francouzského umění 19. a 20. století v roce 1923. Studie z pera odborníků z Evropy a USA zkoumají různé aspekty této události i její paralely v jiných zemích.

The Bulletin of the National Gallery in Prague is a scholarly periodical publishing research results across all categories of the collection's holdings, with an effort to present new insights both within their fields and in interdisciplinary contexts. In addition to monographic studies and reports on new findings, the Bulletin features the results of conservation work and technological analyses, significant archival doc-uments, and professional reviews of important Czech and international publications across fields.
This year's issue is a publication of the proceedings of an international conference organized by the NGP in collaboration with the Institute of Art History at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, on the occasion of the centenary of the acquisition of the state of French 19th- and 20th-century art in 1923. Studies by experts from Europe and the USA explore various aspects of the event and its parallels in other countries.
