The publication is linked to the newly opened graphic cabinet in the Schwarzenberg Palace. In two stages, a selection of masterpieces from the Collection of Graphics and Drawings of Renaissance, Mannerism and Baroque Art is exhibited here. In 60 catalogue entries, the publication presents important, and in some cases lesser-known drawings and graphic sheets, selected by the team of curators of the National Gallery in Prague. For example, the world-famous self-portrait of Giuseppe Arcimboldo, graphic sheets by Albrecht Dürer or Rembrandt, drawings and engravings by artists from Rudolfinian Mannerism or drawings by the Czech Baroque master Karel Škréta are presented.
